Shark Fishing
Ask around on the docks about shark fishing, usually you'll hear about Captain Ken or Charterboat Just-B-Cause. We do more shark fishing than any other charter boat in Destin.
What an awsome experience it is to fight one of these monsters. Bull, hammerhead, blacktip, sandbar, nurse, and mako are the species we normally see. You have the choice to bring it home, or take lots of pictures and turn it loose. We release over 100 sharks per year.
For winter shark fishing you need to allow an 8 hour trip (or longer). In the spring and summer, 4 to 8 hours is good, but the longer the trip, the better your chances of success. Of course, that goes for any kind of fishing...
